Friday Drop · Monday Pickup
Weekend Dumpster Rental in Kansas City
$350 flat for a 20 yard dumpster, delivered Friday and picked up Monday.
Most weekend projects do not need a full week of container time — they need a dumpster sitting in the driveway from Friday afternoon through Monday morning. That is exactly what this rate is for, and it costs $25 less than our standard 7-day rate. No tonnage fees, no fuel surcharge, no hidden charges.
The Weekend Rate
20 Yard Weekend Special
Our most popular container, priced for a Friday-to-Monday project.

20 Yard — Weekend
- About 6–7 pickup truck loads
- Driveway protection boards included
- Delivery, pickup and disposal included
- $25 less than the standard 7-day rate

15 Yard — Standard
- About 5–6 pickup truck loads
- Better if your weekend might run long
- Smaller footprint on a tight driveway
Honest note: the weekend rate exists on the 20 yard because that is the size most weekend projects need. Every other size already comes with a standard 7-day rental at a flat rate, which covers a weekend perfectly well — an 11 yard is $300, a 15 yard is $350 and a 30 yard is $475. If a different size suits your job better, take it for the week. See every option on the pricing page.

What Fits
What Goes in a 20 Yard Over a Weekend
Six to seven pickup truck loads, filled level with the rim.
Garage and basement purge
Furniture, shelving, boxes, old exercise equipment, toys and years of accumulated storage. A packed two-car garage usually lands inside a 20 yard.
Deck or fence tear-out
An average residential deck or a run of privacy fence fits comfortably. Wood loads fill volume fast but weigh little — and weight does not cost you anything here.
Single-room remodel
Kitchen or bathroom demo, cabinets, flooring, drywall and fixtures. Tile and plaster are heavy, but again, no tonnage fee.
Yard and landscaping work
Brush, branches, sod, old landscaping timbers and general green waste from a big weekend outside. Dirt and rock need a concrete dumpster instead.
Moving out
Everything that is not making the trip. See the moving cleanout guide for how to work through a house efficiently.
Storm and yard debris
Downed limbs and damaged fencing after a Kansas City storm. If water is involved, see the flood cleanup guide — the first 24–48 hours matter.
Before You Book
Weekend Rental Rules
Book earlier in the week if you can
Friday is the busiest delivery day of the week for a dumpster company, for obvious reasons. Calling Monday through Wednesday gives you a much better shot at the Friday window you want. Same-day Friday delivery is sometimes possible — see same-day dumpster rental.
Load level with the rim
Nothing above the top rim and nothing hanging over the sides. Missouri hauling law does not allow us to transport an overfilled container, so anything stacked above the line has to come back out before we can move it.
Keep the prohibited items out
No wet paint, chemicals, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, batteries, or appliances containing refrigerant. No concrete, brick, dirt or rock in a standard container. Tires are accepted at $15 each when disclosed in advance and placed on top — see tire disposal. Prohibited items carry an additional charge of $75 per ton, and loads are photographed at the dump.
Clear the drop spot before Friday
A 20 yard needs roughly 40 to 50 feet of straight clearance to back in. Move cars, open gates, and text us a photo if you are not sure the space works. We set the container on boards to protect the driveway surface.
Roofing and concrete need their own container
Shingle tear-offs go in a shingle dumpster and concrete goes in a concrete dumpster. Mixing them into a standard load contaminates it and blocks recycling, which triggers penalty charges.
Questions
Weekend Dumpster Rental FAQ
How much is a weekend dumpster rental in Kansas City?
$350 flat for a 20 yard dumpster delivered Friday and picked up Monday. That includes delivery, pickup and disposal, with no tonnage fees and no fuel surcharge. It is $25 less than our standard 7-day rate on the same container.
When exactly do you deliver and pick up?
Delivery is Friday and pickup is Monday. We will confirm a delivery window when you book. Pickup is not automatic on other rentals, but on the weekend rate Monday is the scheduled return — if you need it longer, call us before Monday and we will extend it at $25 a day.
Is the weekend rate available on other sizes?
The dedicated weekend price is a 20 yard rate. Every other size comes with a standard flat-rate 7-day rental, which covers a weekend anyway: $300 for an 11 yard, $350 for a 15 yard and $475 for a 30 yard. If a different size fits your project better, take it for the full week at no extra cost.
What if my project runs into the following week?
Call or text before Monday and we will extend the rental for $25 a day or $150 for a full extra week. There is no penalty for extending — we would rather you finish the job properly than rush it.
How much can I put in a 20 yard dumpster?
About six to seven pickup truck loads, filled level with the top rim. There is no weight limit and no per-ton charge. The only rule is that nothing sits above the rim or hangs over the sides, because we cannot legally haul an overfilled container.
Can I get a dumpster delivered on Saturday?
Call and ask — it depends on the week. The Friday-to-Monday window is the standard weekend rate because it fits how most people work, but we will tell you honestly what is possible for your dates.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No. This is a no-contact rental. As long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear, you do not need to be there for either end.
