Prohibited Items in Standard Dumpsters

The following materials cannot be placed in a standard roll-off dumpster: concrete, bricks, gravel, stones, asphalt, lathe and plaster, paint cans, and dirt. Penalty fees may apply if restricted items are found inside.

Tires — Accepted for a Small Fee

Tires are welcome in a standard dumpster for a small added fee: $15 per tire, paid in advance and disclosed when you place your order. Please set tires on top of the load rather than burying them. Undisclosed or buried tires are still charged $15 each.

Shingle Dumpster Rules

Shingle dumpsters are for roofing shingles only — no other trash or debris mixed in. Residential asphalt shingles only: we cannot accept commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, torch-down) or concrete and clay tile. Flat rate with no weight limit — just keep the load level with the rim. Mixing shingles with other debris may result in additional charges.

Level Fill Is Required

For safe, legal hauling, all debris must sit level with the top of the dumpster: no items sticking above the top, nothing hanging over the sides, and no prohibited materials mixed in. Alpha Team KC reserves the right to require removal of restricted items or overfilled materials before pickup, and additional costs may apply if these conditions aren’t met.

How Pickup Works

Please call or text us when you’re finished with the dumpster. We will not automatically pick it up unless you specifically requested an automatic pickup when scheduling your rental.

A Swap Costs a Full Second Rental

If you fill the container and need another, the swap is charged at the same rate as the original rental — only one haul-off is included per rental fee. That is the arithmetic behind our sizing advice: stepping up from the 15 yard to the 20 costs $30, while running out of room costs another full rental.
