30 Yard Dumpster
A 30 yard dumpster is one of the largest you can get. 20 feet long by 8 feet wide by 6 feet tall. (20 x 8 x 6) This is a great solution when you have a large clean up project, moving out of a large home or have large items to throw away such as sectionals, king size beds or tables. It is also a good size when doing a large remodeling project. Just remember, the 30 yard dumpster is 20 feet long. This will not fit on many of the smaller driveways in Brookside or Westport. All of our other sizes (20, 15 & 11) are 12 feet long which make them a better option when space is restricted or you have a street where cars are parking on both sides, limiting access to your driveway.
Things to Consider
While this dumpster is convenient for getting rid of a large volume of waste, it’s important to consider the types of materials you’ll be disposing of. If you have heavy items such as concrete or bricks, you may want to opt for a smaller “concrete” dumpster to avoid overloading it. Alpha Team’s 30 yard dumpster has double doors for easy loading and unloading. Keep in mind that certain items, such as hazardous materials, tires, and concrete, are not allowed in the dumpster and must be disposed of separately.
The 30 yard dumpster is 20 feet long. When off loading we need about 60 feet of space to let the dumpster down off of the truck. That means this size dumpster may not work at your home. Short driveways, or if cars tend to park on your street we suggest you go with a 20 yard dumpster that is 12 feet long.
